The crankshaft grinder is mainly used for grinding crankshaft journal and main journal of engine crankshaft in automobile tractor and diesel engine manufacturers and repair plants. The resolution of grinding wheel is 0.005mm.

The head frame of crankshaft grinder adopts belt variable speed, and three different speeds can be obtained. Cross chuck structure can be selected for head and tail frame chuck. Friction clutch is used in the transmission chain of the head frame, which is convenient for adjustment and operation. The worktable moves longitudinally, separated and mobile, with digital display and resolution of 0.005mm.


The grinding wheel rack is fast forward and backward, controlled by hydraulic device, with digital display resolution of 0.005mm. The grinding wheel shaft adopts Φ 80mm, with sufficient rigidity and good strength. The grinding wheel frame adopts rolling guide rail. The bed guide rail and grinding wheel rack guide rail are lubricated automatically by oil pump, and the tail stock air cushion can be selected to move forward and backward rapidly.


Operating procedures for crankshaft grinder

1. The operator must be familiar with the operation sequence and performance of the machine tool, and it is forbidden to use the equipment beyond the performance.

2. Before starting the machine, check whether the handle and stroke stop iron are intact and reliable, and tighten the screw of travel switch.

3. Before starting, the specified lubricating oil should be filled according to the equipment lubrication chart.

4, start the lubricating oil pump, night pressure pump motor, check and adjust the night pressure system pressure, lubrication system pressure, and turn the grinding wheel shaft with the hand, check whether the rotation is light, point the grinding head cross feed, check the relative position between the grinding wheel and the diamond pen and workpiece, move the worktable for 15-20 minutes, and discharge the air in the cylinder to eliminate the crawl, then adjust the stroke and speed.

5. Always check whether there are cracks in the grinding wheel. It is forbidden to refit it for end grinding.

6. The grinding amount shall be selected reasonably, and the grinding wheel shall not stop running when it is not away from the workpiece.

7. It is forbidden to process without protective cover and to knock the workpiece on the worktable.

8. It is forbidden to use cracked grinding wheel and blunt diamond.

9. When working, the feed position should be adjusted according to the size of the workpiece, and the bumpers on the worktable.

10. When working, the lubrication of guide rail should be checked first, and the production can be started after the lubrication is sufficient.

11. Regularly check the tightness of the workpiece shaft belt and adjust it in time.

12. If the grinding wheel is replaced with a new one, it must be checked whether there is any crack. It can be used only after the second balance test run is normal.

13. Reset before shutdown, turn off the cooling nozzle for 2-3 minutes, turn off the grinding head motor and workpiece motor, and after the grinding head stops, turn off the hydraulic oil pump, lubricating oil pump and cooling pump.

14. After the work is finished, clean the equipment, cut off the power supply and record the spot check card.
