Its hardness is between corundum and diamond, and its mechanical strength is higher than corundum;


2. Green silicon carbide powder is green with crystal structure, high hardness, strong cutting ability, stable chemical property and good thermal conductivity. The microhardness of silicon carbide is 9.2, that of Vickers is 3000-3300 kg / mm, that of Knoop is 2670-2815 kg / mm, and that of 3300 kg / mm.
