What regulations should be followed for CNC cylindrical grinder?


CNC cylindrical grinder of structure and characteristics:


CNC cylindrical grinder is a kind of processing equipment used for cylindrical grinding of large quantities of shaft parts. In the case of clamping the workpiece at one time, it can complete the automatic cycle grinding of multi gear outer circle. It is suitable for grinding of automobile, motor, reducer and other shaft parts.

The bed is of integral T-shape structure, and the internal rib plate is arranged in box shape, and it is cast by high-strength cast iron, which makes it have high overall stiffness. The design of wide flume ensures the smooth return of cooling water. There are three to five supporting surfaces on the bottom of the bed for the installation and horizontal adjustment of the machine tool.


The domestic CNC system (knd or GSK) is used to realize the x-axis and z-axis linkage.


Precision ball screw pair is used for vertical and horizontal feed, and high-precision ball screw special bearing is used for support bearing to ensure proper axial and radial clearance and accuracy.


The grinding wheel spindle system adopts high-precision three pad dynamic pressure spindle bearing assembly, which has the characteristics of high precision and strong rigidity. The rotation of the grinding wheel shaft is driven by a low vibration motor.


The head frame spindle adopts the structure of precision sliding inner cone bearing and precision pair ball bearing assembly. The grinding wheel corrector is fixed at the front of the head frame, so that the program can realize automatic compensation.


It is equipped with independent cooling water tank with magnetic separation to fully meet the needs of grinding production continuity and ensure the grinding quality.

Semi closed protective cover of machine tool can prevent water leakage and improve the safety and environmental protection of machine tool operation.

Preparation for CNC cylindrical grinder before operation:

a. Check the "shift handover record".

b. Check whether the operating handle, switch and knob are in the correct position, whether the operation is flexible, whether the safety device is complete and reliable, and then the power can be connected.

c. Add lubricating oil according to the requirements of lubrication chart, and check the oil quantity of lubrication system and oil tank to ensure the proper oil quantity and oil quality meet the requirements.

d. Start the oil pump to remove the air in the oil cylinder of the worktable and check whether the oil pressure is normal.

f. Make the grinding wheel rack quickly feed in or out, and check whether the head frame dial and cooling pump start or stop at the same time.

g. When the machine tool is shut down for more than 8 hours, the machine tool shall be operated at low speed for 3-5 minutes, and the lubrication, hydraulic, mechanical, electrical and cooling systems shall be confirmed to be in normal operation before operation.


Matters needing attention in CNC cylindrical grinder work:

a. It is strictly forbidden to use the machine tool beyond its performance.

b. The grinding wheel and cutting parameters should be selected reasonably according to the material and process requirements of the workpiece.

c. When replacing the grinding wheel, it should be disassembled and disassembled in strict accordance with the regulations. The grinding wheel installed must be qualified.

d. The grinding wheel shall be statically balanced and dynamically balanced when there are special regulations.

e. After installation, the grinding wheel should be idled for 3-5 minutes, and the grinding wheel can be used only after the normal operation of the grinding wheel is confirmed.

f. According to the grinding length of the workpiece, adjust the position of the tailstock and reversing block, and fasten them, and adjust the speed required by the worktable.

g. When the grinding wheel is close to the workpiece, manual slow feed must be used to make the grinding wheel contact with the workpiece, and collision is not allowed. When the workpiece and grinding wheel do not leave, the machine shall not be stopped midway.

h. When loading, unloading and measuring the workpiece, the grinding wheel must be pulled away from the workpiece and carried out after shutdown; the workpiece clamping must be reasonable and firm.

i. After the grinding wheel is blunt, it shall be trimmed in time and shall not be used again.

j. Sharp diamond should be selected for dressing grinding wheel, and coolant must be used during dressing.

k. It is forbidden to knock or straighten the workpiece on the two or worktable.

l. When tightening, the inner taper should be used properly, and the inner grinding hole should be used properly.

m. In the process of circular grinding, it is necessary to carefully check whether the electrical limit switch is reliable, so as to ensure that the grinding wheel has no rapid advance and retreat and automatic feed movement in the internal cylindrical grinding.

n. When the machine tool is in operation, the operator is not allowed to leave the post or entrust someone to take care of it.

o. In case of any abnormal phenomenon in the operation of the machine tool, the machine shall be shut down immediately to find out the causes and deal with it in time.


After operation maintenance of CNC cylindrical grinder:

a. Before stopping the machine, let the grinding wheel run empty for more than 2 minutes to dry it.

b. All control handles, switches and knobs must be placed in the "stop" position to cut off the power supply.

c. Carry out routine maintenance.

d. Fill in the "shift handover record" and do a good job of shift handover.
