Vacuum heat treatment can be used for annealing, degassing, solid solution heat treatment, quenching, tempering and precipitation hardening. It can also be used in chemical heat treatment after the proper medium is supplied. Vacuum quenching heat treatment is a metal heat treatment process in which the metal workpiece is heated below 1 atmosphere (i.e. under negative pressure).
Vacuum quenching oil is made of deep refined mineral oil as the base oil by adding a variety of functional additives. It is suitable for the quenching process of small and medium-sized materials or materials with good hardenability under vacuum conditions. Vacuum quenching oil is mainly used in machinery manufacturing industry.
The water cooling device of vacuum quenching furnace, the shell and cover of vacuum heat treatment furnace, the conductive disposal of electric heating element (water-cooled electrode), the intermediate vacuum insulation hot and other components, all work under the vacuum and heat condition. Working under such unfavorable conditions, it is necessary to ensure that the structure of each component is not deformed or damaged, and that the vacuum sealing ring is not overheated or burned out. Therefore, each part should be equipped with water cooling device according to different conditions to ensure the normal operation of the vacuum heat treatment furnace and have enough service life.
