It needs some skills to determine the temperature of the box furnace, the charging capacity of the box furnace or the heating time of the box furnace. 1. The fast heating time of the box furnace is generally calculated according to the effective size of the cross section of the workpiece, and determined according to the actual situation and previous experience.


2. When fast heating is adopted in box furnace, the service life of resistance wire is considered. Generally, the furnace temperature is specified as 920 ~ 940 ℃ (resistance wire is chromium nickel material), 940 ~ 960 ℃ (resistance wire is iron chromium aluminum material) or 960 ~ 980 ℃ (resistance wire is material containing niobium, molybdenum and other alloy elements).


3. The determination of the charging capacity of the box furnace is generally based on the power and the use area of the box furnace. The principle is: the furnace wall surface of the first batch of workpieces has reached the specified temperature before charging, and the furnace temperature can quickly recover to the specified temperature after each charging. If the charging quantity is too large and the furnace power does not match, the furnace temperature will not be restored for a long time, which will affect the accuracy of time calculation. In mass production, it can be carried out continuously in batches.
