Experimental furnace is one of the most important experimental instruments in the laboratory. It plays an extremely important role in high temperature melting, metallographic experiment, heat treatment, polymer research and other projects. However, the specifications and models of the experimental furnace required by different experiments are particular, and the application occasions of different specifications are also different.

First of all, let's classify the experimental furnaces as follows:


First, it is classified according to temperature

1. 1200 ℃ and below: this kind of experimental electric furnace is also called "muffle furnace", with low price and large consumption.

2. 1200 ℃ ~ 1450 ℃: this kind of experimental furnace uses silicon carbon rod heating rod, which has high stability and a little expensive price.

3. Below 1800 ℃: high temperature, strong stability and high price.


Second, according to the classification of thermal insulation materials:

1. Silicon carbide furnace: high strength, good stability, suitable for producing gas, corrosive substances, plastics and other tests.

2. Ceramic fiber board: good heat preservation performance, low energy consumption, suitable for heat treatment, sintering and other experiments.


Third, according to the function classification

1. Gas protection: redox gas or inert gas can be filled to protect the reaction from the influence of air or catalytic reaction.

2. Lifting function: it greatly facilitates the experimental steps and improves the efficiency and safety of the experiment.
