Principle of intermediate frequency furnace equipment

According to the basic principle of electromagnetic induction, the three-phase alternating current into direct current, after rectification power frequency and direct current (dc) into adjustable intermediate frequency electric current, the supply is composed of capacitor and inductor load (coil and capacitance can be parallel, series), high density in induction coil in the magnetic field lines, and metal cutting in the induction coil, produce a lot of eddy current in the metal materials. This eddy current also has some of the properties of intermediate frequency current, that is, the free electrons of the metal itself flow in a resistive metal body to generate heat. , for example, put a metal cylinder has alternating medium frequency current in induction coil, metal cylinder has no direct contact with induction coil, electric coil temperature is very low, but the surfaces are heated to redness, and even melt, and the redness and melting speed as long as adjust the size and the strength of the current frequency can be achieved. If the cylinder is placed in the center of the coil, the temperature around the cylinder is the same, and the heating and melting of the cylinder does not produce harmful gases or light pollution to the environment.

Due to the high heating speed of this heating method, oxidation is very little. The oxidation loss of intermediate frequency heating forgings is only 0.5%. The oxidation loss of gas furnace heating is 2%, and the coal furnace reaches 3%. Its material utilization rate can reach 95%. Due to uniform heating and small temperature difference between core and gauge, the forging life is greatly increased in forging. The surface roughness of the forging is also less than that of the 50um process, and the energy saving of intermediate frequency heating is 31.5% ~ 54.3% as compared with oil heating, and 5% ~ 40% as compared with gas heating. Good heating quality can reduce the rejection rate by 1.5%, increase the production rate by 10% ~ 30% and prolong the life of the die by 10% ~ 15%.

Induction heating is the most energy-saving heating method in electric heating furnace. The power consumption of tons of forgings heated from room temperature to 1100℃ is less than 360 ℃.
