In chemical manufacturing, many reactions need high purity nitrogen, so nitrogen generator is needed. Nitrogen generator refers to the equipment that uses air as raw material to separate oxygen and nitrogen from air by physical methods. According to the different classification methods, i.e. cryogenic air separation, molecular sieve air separation (PSA) and membrane air separation, there are three types of nitrogen generators used in industry. Any instrument has faults. How to solve the seven common faults of nitrogen generator:

1、 In the process of operation, the high digital pressure on the meter head can not reach the set value is caused by the leakage device, so the gas circuit should be comprehensively checked for leakage, especially for the drying chamber and battery.


2、 Check the battery for air leakage

1. Open the side plate of the instrument, observe the black rubber pad between the battery panels to see if there is protruding deformation and water seepage, if so, replace the battery;

2. After the nitrogen is put into 5kg pressure, the power is cut off. The water circuit of the battery should be static. If there are bubbles constantly emerging, it means that the battery is broken;


3、 When the instrument is in operation, it is the solenoid valve that makes a noise: use 14 spanner to adjust the tightness of the nut on the solenoid valve properly, not too tight; if not, it is necessary to disassemble the solenoid valve to clean the inside (the noise is mainly due to impurities in the internal organs of the solenoid valve). If the cleaning is still not good, it is necessary to replace it with a new one.


4、 There is gas output when the machine is started. When the pressure rises just after starting, press the red time delay switch in front, and then release the output pressure from the output, and wait for 10 minutes before using.


5、 No display on display board

1. Check whether the power supply has power;

2. Whether the circuit plug-in is firmly inserted;

3. Check whether the fuse is burned out. The fuse is located in the wire socket behind the instrument (with a safety pattern). Pry it out with a small "one" screwdriver or a sharp metal tool. The fuse is 5A;

4 open the side plate of the instrument and check whether the wiring plug-in of the display board is firmly inserted;

5. Check whether the indicator light of the circuit board in the instrument is on. If not, check whether the fuse on the circuit board is burned out. If it is burned, replace the fuse 3a. If it still does not display after replacement, the power supply must be changed;


6、 Turn on the machine and display "000" to check whether there is gas input at the rear air input end of the instrument


7、 After 10 minutes of power on, the number will be displayed, but there will be no pressure rise and no gas output. Check whether the plug-in of the solenoid valve falls off and is loose. Use a universal meter to measure the two plug-ins of the solenoid valve. If there is no voltage of 220 V, the power supply should be replaced.
