Telescopic butterfly valve is suitable for water supply and drainage and gas pipelines with temperature ≤80℃ and nominal pressure ≤ 1.6mpa, such as food, medicine, chemical industry, petroleum, electric power, light textile, papermaking, etc., to regulate the flow rate and closure medium, and has the function of compensating thermal expansion and cold contraction of pipelines.

Note for installation and use of telescopic butterfly valve


1, telescopic butterfly valve before installation must be flat, do not knock against

2. The structure length of telescopic butterfly valve is the minimum length when it leaves the factory. During installation, pull to the installation length (i.e., the design length).

3. When the length between the pipes exceeds the installation length of the telescopic valve, please adjust the spacing of the pipes and do not force the telescopic valve to avoid damaging the telescopic valve

4. The telescopic butterfly valve can be installed at any time to compensate the temperature. After the pipe is installed, brackets shall be added along the pipe axis to prevent the telescopic pipe of the telescopic valve from being pulled out (see Figure 1)

5. When the telescopic butterfly valve does not do temperature compensation, it is only convenient to install, replace and maintain the valve. When it is convenient, you can pass the butterfly bolt limit and tighten the telescopic butterfly valve symmetrically to prevent the telescopic pipe from pulling out (see Figure 2) and damage the telescopic butterfly valve and piping devices or buildings. The bolt diameter can be calculated according to the flange bolt diameter, bolt strength, test pressure and pipeline tension, according to the above formula, the running time limit of the bolt is strictly prohibited to be removed (bolts with other)

6. It is strictly prohibited to disassemble and disassemble telescopic butterfly valve at the pipeline construction site

7. This telescopic butterfly valve has fine processing and strict coordination. Please do not repeatedly stretch and press short telescopic butterfly valve on site. When installing the pipe, both ends of the pipe must be concentric, and the two flange faces on the pipe must be parallel

Flange fixing bolts should be tightened symmetrically, do not tighten flange fixing bolts unilaterally

9. Telescopic pipe is installed behind the valve

Expansion valve expansion part shall not be installed at the pipe corner or the end of the pipe
