Industrial biomass hot air furnace operating principle:


GL series reciprocating grate furnaces are designed specifically for burning biomass fuels that typically have low calorific value, high moisture content, and radically different fuel sizes. It mainly consists of reciprocating grate, mechanical drive system, combustion chamber, feed hopper, ash remover, blower and exhaust fan.


The air - cooled reciprocating furnace rate is an inclined step - like furnace rate. When biomass fuel is fed through the hopper to the top staircase, it is pushed down the length of the grate through discrete drying, gasification, combustion and burnout zones. Combustion air is blown into the combustion chamber from the bottom of the grate through holes in each grate. The ash is discharged automatically into the ash conveying system at the end of the grate. After heating, the hot air (800-1000 ℃) is discharged by the exhaust fan for drying or heating. A tubular heat exchanger can be installed behind the stove to obtain clean hot air.

6) automatic operation: oil supply, ash discharge and grate movement are all fully automatic.


7) stable output temperature: temperature control is achieved by accurately adjusting combustion air, grate movement and feed speed. All fans are equipped with inverters. The grate drive motor is stepless.


8) safety measures: exhaust fans are equipped to generate negative pressure combustion. The ash separator is sealed with water. The negative pressure and closed combustion chamber ensure safe operation and cooling of the grate.
