Project Overview:

Silicon carbide (SiC) is made of quartz sand, petroleum coke (or coal coke) and wood chips by high temperature smelting in resistance furnace. Silicon carbide is also a rare mineral in nature, mosanite. Silicon carbide is also called carbon silica. In contemporary C, N, B and other non-oxide high-tech refractory raw materials, silicon carbide is widely used and economical. It may be called gold and steel sand or refractory sand. At present, the industrial production of silicon carbide in China is divided into black silicon carbide and green silicon carbide, both of which are hexagonal crystals, with a specific gravity of 3.20 ~ 3.25, and a microhardness of 2,840 ~ 3,320 kg/mm2.

Sic drying production line is a new efficient fluidized drying equipment developed by our company to overcome static drying low efficiency and high consumption. The machine is widely used in the drying of silicon carbide, black silicon carbide, green silicon carbon, black silicon carbide powder, green silicon carbide powder, foam ceramic silicon carbide, refractory silicon carbide and other fine powder materials with small specific gravity. The equipment has high thermal efficiency, low energy consumption, small floor space, simple configuration and convenient operation and control.

Working principle:

The hot air enters into the mixing and crushing drying chamber from the bottom of the dryer at an appropriate spout speed from the air inlet. It has a strong shearing, floating and rotating effect on the material, so the material is particulated by centrifugation, shearing, collision and friction, which enhances the mass and heat transfer. At the bottom of the dryer is larger than wet granule group was mechanical broken in under the action of stirrer, low moisture content, the smaller the particle size, particle entrainment by the rotating flow increase, in the process of rise further dry, because of the gas-solid phase rotation flow, solid phase of inertia is greater than the gas phase, two phases of gas in the relative velocity is larger, effect of enhancing heat transfer in two phases, so the machine dry high strength.
